Can we have more info about backported ports & drivers ?
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=8954.0

There seem to be an issue with AHCI xhci0: <Intel Denverton USB 3.0 controller> which is solved in 11.2-rc3

Thanks for sharing the info.

It's unlikely we will touch anything but network drivers, but there will be a test version for 11.2 as soon as that is out. The underlying issue is that the release timing for 11.2 is not ideal for our model as 11.2 will be ready the same time that 18.7 is supposed to be freezed/released and that's a high-risk situation for our users somewhat related to the mixed performance of the former 10.x series updates.

Cheers,
Franco

Cheers,

i get an error too. see my attachement.

Strangely, the first installation worked. After about 3 reboots came then this error.

Now i can´t even boot opnsense from harddisc too.

i´m using atom c3558

I was already looking forward to 18.7, because I thought that with it, the atom c3000 works. Pity!
