PHP error on 17.7.9?
« on: December 13, 2017, 10:59:04 am »
Hi,

my 17.7.9 install reports errors like this:

Code: [Select]
[07-Dec-2017 15:15:01 Europe/Berlin] PHP Warning:  Cannot assign an empty string to a string offset in /usr/local/etc/inc/filter.inc on line 1640

Is this something with my installation, does it require me to do something? Regards

When did you update, when it was released? If you did then there's a couple of recent updates for some minor problems including that one, check on your system and run the latest update.

BTW, the current version is 17.7.9_9

Hi,

It was hard to catch these run-time errors with PHP 7.1 so sorry for that.

It was properly addressed in the hotfixes for 17.7.9, simply update again.

Cheers,
Franco
