Thanks,
liam

I'm not sure if I should mark this as solved, but I'm sure your edit doesn't motivate a lot of forum users to answer now. Feel free to discuss this.

Hello,
I've been using OPNsense for three days now, everything is working good so far. Nice work!
I would also like to be able to track bandwith usage by IP, protocol, etc...
From my opinion, ntopng should be a good solution.
Any plan for integrating such kind of packages?
Thanks

We want to add more packages to the mirror and do so every now and then. But that only includes FreeBSD packages, which are still missing a GUI. The MVC is about ready to prototype new applications in time for 15.7, but making it fully pluggable is something for 16.1. We'll also need ntop for ndpi later...
Something else that comes to mind is pfflow to generate NetFlow data for external tools. Here, too, we'll need a bit of help from the community to get the ball rolling, but it it's relatively easy to configure that without a GUI for a first test, I think.

Hi felpine,
cheers for your testing offer.
It's good these ideas are on file now in the forum; it means they can be picked up and if there is enough traction and/or help we are able to put them in eventually.
Cheers,
Franco
