After the upgrade to 17.7.8 dashboard and graphs are empty in the GUI
and:
The user edit function is mixing up the users I edit
the upgrade screen is empty after the Updates /  Plugins / Packages tabs, except the Settings tab
I the Settings tab I cannot select a mirror to upgrade from

I cannot revert or see any upgrades on the GUI
# opnsense-update -U
# opnsense-update -bkd
shows: Your system is up to date.

System log:
OPNsense 17.7.8-3a28080b7 [17.7.7_1-ed74dfb93] OpenSSL 1.0.2m  2 Nov 2017 (amd64)
Plugins os-dyndns-1.3 os-intrusion-detection-content-pt-open-1.0 os-intrusion-detection-content-snort-vrt-1.0

Can anyone assist? Thanks

Edit: added some extra info and attachments

I tried:
restore with
opnsense-bootstrap
and opnsense-bootstrap -f

rebooted / tested. Same issue as above  :(

Any other suggestions?

Can be closed.... I used another browser. It works as intended.

Brave browser has default some nice features but NOT on OPNsense...  ;D

its appear to be a cache in the browser,
clean cookie or use different browser should fix.
i just did the update and everything is working fine.

I cleared the cache of Brave and that did not help.
I needed to switched off the site shield settings to "trust" OPNsense on my device.

I don't know about Brave, but what I know is we have jQuery 1, which is end of life and may not work outside its supported scope. We're changing to jQuery 3 with 18.1, but even this (and other components) require respective browser support, otherwise these bugs are simply obscure and the UI unusable.

Brave's core is based on Chromium and build on that. So it is supported I would presume.

I was wondering why it worked on 17.7.7 and not on 17.7.8.
But I do not need the safe settings on my local network
