Hi,

i'm was wundering me why my ssd is full.
After some digging by ssh i found out that elasicsearch is using about 180gb of diskspace.

188G    /usr/local
187G    /usr/local/datastore/elasticsearch/indices

8.2G    /var
7.7G    /var/log

Since a week now i'm having an internet outage.
Dont ask an excavater was hitting the koax cable at an other house near by me and the koax contracter isnt able to fix the problem with in a few hours.
Could this be a reason for this high amount of disk usage by elastic search?

I was tring to delete the database by using the web interface of zenarmor inside of opnsene but there was no change in the file size.
Is there a way to remove this database?

Cheers Robert

Hi Robert,

To reset the reporting database, navigate to Settings > Reporting & Data > Reporting Database > Reset Reporting. This action will remove all existing index files and automatically recreate them.

Best regards

Thanks for you hint.

the first try didnt work.
I figured out the that the database wasnt runnning.
After starting it manually the reset was working.

But why is this happening?
Is there a reason for?
