I recently restored a configuration file from a few months ago to my firewall, and after a reboot, while the firewall seems to be functioning fine, I can no longer access the Opnsense web interface.

I can SSH into the firewall (non-root user) -- is there a way to restore web interface access?

Just need to figure out what is the actual problem. use your browser's developer tools to see what is the actual error if there is one.

You should have a non-root user that can issue the 'su' command after logging in via SSH and then you can try some of the stuff mentioned here : https://docs.opnsense.org/troubleshooting.html#topics

If not, then you need to hook up a monitor and keyboard to your OPNsense and boot it into 'Single User Mode' to fix the non-root user part and perhaps the config stuff too :)
Weird guy who likes everything Linux and *BSD on PC/Laptop/Tablet/Mobile and funny little ARM based boards :)
