Import rules [new] dialog not working?

Is this the way the import rules dialog in Rules [new] is supposed to look like?

No "ok", "cancel" or any of the usual buttons?

I tried to enlarge the dialog but it seems to be fixed size. Also used the browsers inspector (F12) but it looks like indeed there are no buttons to confirm or cancel the import.

I am running Librewolf but also tried Chromium with the same result.
OPNsense 26.1.10-amd64, community version.

Click on the checkbox....thing to apply. Maybe not the most intuitive....

A checkbox as "ok" button would indeed be a unique UI concept :-)
But I tried that already, nothing happens.

I would assume that the checkbox is there to differentiate between overwrite existing rules or adding, but that still means a confirm button is missing.

For me, on clicking that, the rules from the CSV file appear in the UI, and I'm prompted "After changing settings, please remember to apply them." (as you would after any rules change).

This is strange indeed. My dialog is just sitting there for more than an hour with checkbox activated.

I find this whole process a bit confusing to be honest. When I enter the New rules page all my "old" rules are already showing and the Apply button is active. Which made me think that maybe this new release migrated the rules automatically but not activated them yet, and all I need to do is to hit Apply and deactivate the old rules...bad idea...but my backup was working :-)

I meanwhile found out that it shows the old rules in the new rule section, because when I deactivate a rule in old, it disappears in new.

Due to a recent change, the Rules [new] interface shows all rules that are in effect, not just those that are configured there. This was (IIUC) done so that automatically generated rules are shown, but unfortunately it also draws in rules that came from the legacy interface. There's a thread about it in here somewhere, but the forum search interface is exceeding my patience threshold :/

Silly question - you did check that your CSV file actually has content, right? ;)

I did, it contains all the expected rules.
Nothing complicated so I didn't see a need to change anything before attempting to import again.
