DHCP Lease Time/period

How can i change the DHCP lease time on the firewall settings ?

Am new installer to Opnsense Firewall
Kindly help me achieve the following
Configure the OPNfirewall with interface WAN port
to operate with a public ip My question is is it safe ?

Change the lease period to 30mins
below is my current lease period


   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.138(Preferred)
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.254.0
   Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 11 June 2026 06:37:46
   Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 11 June 2026 08:37:46
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : fe80::f690:eaff:fe01:fb24%17
                                       192.168.1.1
   DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
 
Also wish Configure the DNS and if its safe to issued with dhcp.

Just change the default settings and you are good to go! :)

Well, it's a firewall, which means being safe/secure is the purpose. And if configuration of the WAN parameters to get your uplink working is the only thing you change from the installation defaults, then, yes, you are safe.

As soon as you start adjusting the firewall policy or anything else, that question can only be answered by you.
