Disk Memory Settings

My ZFS SSD mirror disks have been beat up by excessive writes from ZenArmor, logs, ntopng, etc etc. I've finally implemented ramdisk, but I'm seeing non-optimal behavior and need some help getting this sorted.

When I do a df -h as root, my /dev/md43 filesystem is only 48M and 103% utilized. When I go to the GUI at System: Settings: Miscellaneous, I have both /var/log RAM usage and /tmp RAM usage set to 25, which the help dialog indicates is a percentage of total RAM. I have 16GB RAM.

Why is /dev/md43 only 48M? I try to adjust the percentage value, but df -h still shows the same 48M.

Any help greatly appreciated. TIA.

103% ?
What does that tell you about swap usage. Probably means "non-optimal behavior".

If you dont need much history in the logs, then create a cron that runs every 15min or so (or whenever you need it) to prune or truncate the logs (if possible). Kinda depends on what the logs files are being used for.

Zenarmor Database has it's own RAM disk settings in gui, no?
