Hi all,

I recently purchased a dell optiplex 990 and have updated all the drivers and BIOS to current, I have 8gb of RAM and a 1tb HDD. I am running the installer OPNsense-25.7-vga-amd64 on a 32GB flash drive that I formatted using Rufus. I can get all the way to the installer prompt but then when it tries to write to the disk I get opnsense_installer error 5 then I reboot and remove the flash drive and the system reboots and starts running the auto boot like I'm trying to install again. I am unable to login using root/opnsense as well as using installer/opnsense. I also cannot reach the web GUI using the default IP. I do see that LAN and WAN both have IPs but my device connected to the Dell is getting an IPv6 address and not an IPv4. The image is installed on the HDD drive, I'm just not sure what I need to fix or troubleshoot from here. Any help would be appreciated.

It does look like either or both of: installation incomplete / OPN device behind another router.
I suggest going over the installation instructions https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/install.html again. It should make it clearer whereabouts your installation is.
