After updating from 24.7.12_2-amd64 to OPNsense 25.1.10-amd64, I am no longer able to save firewall rules. The 'Save' button does nothing.

This only happens with (Ungoogled) Chromium, Firefox works fine.

Not sure if this is a 'me' problem only, but thought I'd raise it :)

//EDIT:

Some more details:
- Version 138.0.7204.49 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium)
- Console gives the following error: firewall_rules_edit.php:1 Form submission failed, as the <SELECT> element named '' was implicitly closed by reaching the end of the file. Please add an explicit end tag ('</SELECT>')

I do not even have a "Save" button. It is called "Apply" and shows only after I have changed something.

Maybe you should clear your browser cache?
Intel N100, 4* I226-V, 2* 82559, 16 GByte, 500 GByte NVME, ZTE F6005

1100 down / 800 up, Bufferbloat A+

'Apply' is the next step, which I am not even able to get to given the 'Save' button is non-functional.

Clearing browser cache did not help, still same issue.

Getting same problem.  Saving new/edited rule works in ff 128esr

Posted about it before I saw your thread: https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=47885.0

Yeah, nah.  I've done everything I can think of to approach the "firewall_rules_edit.php" page with a clean slate, to include creating a test profile purposely for the task of testing the page.  No dice.

FF 128.12.0esr works
Chromium 138.0.7204.142 (un-googled, portable) works
Cromite 138.0.7204.97 does not

Something that cromite does in the pursuit of privacy/security/etc breaks the aforementioned page.

This seems ironic, because that page is one of the oldest in the project not having been fundamentally changed for at least a decade.

Cheers,
Franco

The mentioned flag isn't available in cromite 138.0.7204.97 on win10/64.

That fixed it for me on Version 138.0.7204.96 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium), though weird that it used to work with it enabled until about a week or so ago.
