Squid Web Proxy / Access Log Retention

Hi Everyone,

Ive been using OPNsense for some time now quite happily - and have recently installed the squid web proxy so i can have transparent logging for reporting.

However it seems that the squid access log only holds 24 hours of data - so i cannot search any further back.
From some googling it appears that squid log retention is somehow linked to the opnsense system logs - but ive tried changing those values and still only have data going back to 12am of each day.

Currently running OPNSense 25.1.7_2
os-squid is version 1.2_1

Can anyone give me some insight as to how to change the squid access log to have a retention of something like a week?
