Hi All,

Just finished migrating to a new machine (dell optiplex 7040 SFF).
1x Intel 82599 -dual 10G
1x Intel I219-LM onboard.

I'm running VXMNET driver.

Lan is connected to 10G WAN to 1G virtual adapter ( KPN Fiber 1GB up/down).

Below result from my desktop in other room:

Would this be ok as test (done several), or can this be sqeezed a bit more?

Let me know what you think,
Cheers

I'd say that's pretty damn good, my provider Init7 has page about it "How can I test the speed of my internet connection?". And they write:

QuoteUnder ideal conditions, the maximum possible speed is 940, 9400 and 23500 Mbit/sec

The numbers being for 1Gbit, 10Gbit and 25Gbit. On a 1Gbit Up/Down link your numbers are excellent!
Deciso DEC740

What are your LAN speeds?  Often ISPs over provision their plans, so you can get over 1g speeds on a 1g plan if your connection has a 2.5g or faster port.  IIRC, I went from results similar to yours to 1.2g speeds by doing so.

I doubt you'd notice the difference, but it's fun nerd cred. :)
