Hi Guys,
After updating to 17.1.2 and Intrusion Detection is enable my DNS services goes down,
I can't browse to the internet and also can't ping using domain name but only using IP.
Can you please advise why ? and how to fix it ?
thank you

I don't know what happens, but after I've rebooted the firewall , stuff start working even the Intrusion Detection is on with IPS mode.
Maybe some services did not started completely.
Can someone please advise how to read the log what happens ?

Hi Julien,
It's a free forum, so you'd have to post logs in advance as people are unlikely to ask for details. It's part of the troubleshooting process to inspect e.g. the system log, find out if DNS wasn't working for Google or at least reachability. If the DNS was working on the box, but not the clients on LAN, if a reboot helped, what was configured previously.... etc.
Thanks,
Franco
