I kicked off the upgrade a few hours ago. It didn't take very long to reach this point.
If I visit System > Firmware > Status or Updates
I get this for a minute or so:
You cannot view this attachment.
Then it switches back to the Dashboard. It's almost as if the reboot itself was aborted or is stuck.

That's in a VM under Proxmox (upgraded to 8.3.5 just before).

Is there anything I should check before triggering a manual reboot?
Nothing jumped at me in the system logs.

Use "top" or "ps" and search for a candidate for a stuck process. Crowdsec is (in)famous for behaving in this way. Kill the process with "kill -9 <pid>". Reboot will then proceed.

I finally got an opportunity to kill crowdsec this morning, and the system went down immediately.

The upgrade completed shortly thereafter.
The upgrade log is pretty verbose... I'm not yet sure everything went to plan but I have enough connectivity to reply.

Thx Patrick.
