Proxmox instance upgrade 25.1 - Minor issue - missing outbound traffic graph ?!?

Greetings, and congratulations on the 25.1 release - looking good!  Only thing I noticed so far after updating a 24.7.12_4 production VM - I noticed that the traffic graph on the dashboard shows a flatline for outbound traffic - inbound seems OK ?!?  Same under Reporting -> Traffic (see attached screenshots)

Any hints ?


Apologies for the bump - Not sure if I'm the only one affected here, although the lack of response tells me something! 

I'll wait another day or two and worst case - re-install 5.1 from scratch and see what happens.  Thx!

Using Suricata or Zenarmor with netmap perhaps? Which NIC driver? Could be the same as on 24.x and earlier.

Thanks for the answer Franco - and YES, Zenarmor - I'm running a virtual instance of OPNSense on Proxmox 8.3.3 - which has worked just fine until last update . . . FYI, I have run OPNSense as a VM since last two years with little to no issues . . . so not my first rodeo ;-)

The VM has been updated constantly starting from around the 22.x timeframe - so maybe old cruft lying around ??


What's odd is that the same configuration worked before the update from 24.7.12_4 -> 25.1 - So might be something with the newer BSD base, or something else ?!? If there's nothing I can check, maybe a fresh install and reload config might help ?

maybe disabling/stopping Zenarmor first and see if graphs start behaving?

I disabled Zenarmor - but didn't seem to help.  I did discover that when I change the interfaces in the Reporting > Traffic Graph page - the dashboard doesn't change (stays with only LAN,WAN) - So VLANs not being shown on dashboard ?!? See attached . . .




Hi, not from me I'm afraid. I looked on github and only found this reference. Even if it was the correct one, I couldn't see files being used so no, I don't have a suggestion to make. Sorry.

Thanks!  Is there any other way to reset the reporting outside of resetting the reporting database?  Like resetting the dashboard back to defaults, but doing that with the traffic reporting ??
