PPPoE connection issues

Well, there seems to be two routes: default - 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.1 - link#9 that might be done in one. The default - 10.0.0.1 does not come up without the manually added route. If it looks okay to you, I will probably leave it like that, even if it is supposed to work automatically.

Yes, if it works with the manually added gateway, it's okay.
The only concerns are the the ISP could be change the default gateway in future. So know you know, where you have to look then.

The 10.0.0.1 is just mentioned in the routing table to be connected to the network adapter link#9.
