CARP flipping back and forth between primary and backup since 24.7.8

I upgraded to OPNsense 24.7.8-amd64 on both my primary and backup a couple of days ago (sadly I don't remember which version I came from, but the last time I updated was about a month ago or so). Ever since, I am seeing lots of alerts (every few minutes or so) about one of my interfaces having issues. It's always the same interface.

I have currently disabled CARP on my backup box in an attempt to troubleshoot, but the following messages continue:
