Connection Drops - how to monitor
«

Hi everyone
I hope someone can help me, I'm pretty sure my provider is dropping my connection every so often, but I don't know how to find proof that it's happening.
Does anyone know where Opnsense would log a connection loss/drop?
thanks so much

Depends,
If you have OPNsense connected directly to your ISP and the physical connection will go down
- you will see a log message
If you use dpinger tracking the ISP GW
- you will see a log message and in graph loss
There are definitely ways to monitor stuff from OPNsense directly, probing. Or if you want something nicer you can on different machine install Uptime-Kuma and set probes.
