VPN in front of OPNsense

My desktop pc runs a VPN service by PrivadoVPN, and is also directly connected to a Protectli Vault running OPNsense. At this time, OPNsense does not have any VPN configured, only largely left as defaults with a few plugins added. Everything always works fine in & out.
My roommate, who owns the internet connection, would like to install a GL.iNet VPN device immediately behind the ISP's modem/router. Would that cause any traffic issues with my setup, being that there'd be TWO VPN's running on the same network?

You can do both VPNs from OPNsense, have the wifi router he wants to use on one link and your devices on the other.
Otherwise you can do those VPNs just fine from your machine and wifi router, it just not particularly secure since you're essentially bypassing all the protections the FW would provide.
Last thing to consider, the GL-inet is far less powerful than the Protectli box especially when doing crypto stuff, and would affect you directly Protectli is behind it.
If not doing both VPNs on Protectli best option is modem-fw-glinet.
