Caddy - Layer4 Routes

Hello all,

I'm running on Opnsense 24.7 (up to date with last bugfixes), with Caddy and I'm looking to activate Layer4 Routes.

On the doc, it say to enable Layer4 on general settings of Caddy plugin, but I've not the checkbox on advanced menu.

Is a bug, or I'm missing something ?

In the doc it states that it needs os-caddy-1.6.2.

Thats released tomorrow with OPNsense 24.7.1.

I was faster with the doc xD

I'm interested in feedback when you try it out. If you find any weird stuff or if it works like expected tell me ok?

I will read more seriously documentation next time

so, I've update my firewall, and I've now the Layer4 Menu.

But, when I activate Layer4 Routes I've an error message, who's joined.

Maybe need a reinstall of Caddy plugin ? (but what about my actuel configuration ?)

Just go to packages and search for caddy custom and click "reinstall".

Since the version was not bumped (of caddy-custom) thats an annoying side effect.

I have the same issue and no caddy-custom package at all.

But 1.6.2 is installed

It's strange that there is no caddy-custom package in "packages" at all. That would mean there would be no caddy binary either.

It is safe to uninstall the plugin, and then reinstall it. No data will be lost. A reboot might be necessary to set the new binary up properly after reinstalling it.

Reinstall solved it. No reboot required
