install first opnsense, wifi card got picked up ok but....

The card is picked up ok and assinged correctly to the wan interface

in diagnostics i can see all the wifi networks

so i enter ssid and wpa passphrase, but i get no connection to the local wifi access point, so wan stays down?

any ideas please, were to see logs?
