Transparent firewall works then stops

I followed this guide
https://www.zenarmor.com/docs/network-security-tutorials/how-to-configure-transparent-filtering-bridge-on-opnsense
and initially everything worked until an update. Now on OPNsense 24.1.6-amd64 and the system passes traffic as expected. Around midnight (local time) the firewall no longer lets any packets through.
The only way to fix this so far is to reboot the device.
I have done a clean install with just the minimum as per the guide and pass all firewall rules only.
I have search for this sort of issue but i have not been able to find anything that helps.

At least you got it to work every now and then. I followed the same steps and nothing works
.
Xfinity cable--->Nighthawk CM2000 Cable modem--->tplink Deco BE95---->LAN is a mix of direct connections to the BE95 (and 2 satellite BE95) and WiFi and a connections to a Netgear PoE switch.
1. Power off cable modem
2. Power off BE95
3. Move ISP cable from the BE95 to Ethernet port 2 on the Protectli
4. Power on cable modem and when it is completely up...
5. Power on BE95.
Nothing. The BE95 doesn't connect to the Internet, doesn't function as a DHCP server, etc. Nothing.
Any ideas?
