Hi all and particularly @mimugmail! Thank you for making additional packages available on opnsense. My question: are there any plans to update the os-unifi7-maxit plugin to version 8+ (current: 8.1.127) for compatibility with new hardware such as the U7 Pro (minimum required: 8.0.26)?

Just remove v7 and install v8 (make backups)

This is probably a dumb question but where can I get the os-unifi plugin?

On my version of OPNsense (v 24.4) there is no such plugin listed.

You need to activate the community repository as documented here:
https://www.routerperformance.net/opnsense-repo/

Possibly not a good idea if you run the business edition because the system is mission critical - but that's for you to decide.

Indeed, I will not activate that repo - I will just stay with my UniFi app within a VM on a separate machine.
