if i try to enable Trafficshaping, it crashes. is there any known issues ?

There is an issue in the kernel related to altq : https://github.com/opnsense/src/commit/6cec1085278c191c5fca3c5c77048e963e6854e7

Which results in a kernel panic, the next version will include a fix for that.

The limiters where removed in our last version, but will be back as soon as possible.

There is a test kernel build to address the panics, which aren't present in FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE. To install this version go to a root shell and run:

# opnsense-update -kr 15.1.10_altq && reboot

Ok, thanks.

i Tried the update
# opnsense-update -kr 15.1.10_altq && reboot

it took a while, but finally cam back with..
`
fetching kernel-15.1.10_altq-amd64.txz...fetch: transfer timed out
fetch: /tmp/opnsense-update.11082/kernel-15/1/10_altq-amd64.txz appears to be truncated: 600680/21143152 bytes.
failed.

Try running the command again. If it fails, you are out of memory. If it times out again, your internet connection is unstable.

ha, yes, quite right. I re-tried when my family were not online and it worked.
that's exactly when i need traffic shaping!

Excellent.  Have fun.  :)

Funny, indeed. Can't download the traffic shaper because there's no bandwidth left. :D
