NOOB Question on start script 'beep'
« on: February 21, 2024, 10:51:55 pm »
First time install of 24.1, I just wanted to confirm that when the start script 'beep' runs during startup that this will cause the internal speaker to beep five times. I want to be sure that this is normal and expected and not a bios error indication that just happens to sound about the time this script runs. Can this beep script be customized in any way?
Thanks!

It is normal amd the sound can be disabled in the system settings.

If it's easy to customize that beep sound it'd be nice to be able to fully-configure the beep parameters, i.e. the number, tone, and spacing of beeps. Is there a config file that can be played with to achieve that or is it hard-coded?
