« on: February 02, 2024, 08:21:15 pm »
Where does the /etc/ntp.keys file need to be dropped?

Thanks!

Searching for the word ntpd in /usr/local/opnsense doesn't turn up much.

Chrony works great with NTS.

"No go" isn't helpful in troubleshooting though

How do I ensure that ntp.keys survives reboot?

Do I need to submit a change to one of the following?
https://github.com/opnsense/plugins/tree/master/net/chrony OR
https://github.com/opnsense/core/blob/master/src/etc/inc/plugins.inc.d/ntpd.inc

I can't find a place to save the chrony.keys file.  Am I missing something?

I do not quite understand the question? What exactly are you trying to achieve? ntpd is running just fine in about a dozen of OPNsense installations for me.

I see that someone posted a feature request and candidate fix - for chrony.
