Captive potal and PS5

Hey all

I have an issue i am trying to figue out. Im helping with a LAN party where you get access to the internet via completly standard Captive Potal that goes to our Radius to get authenticated. All that works fine when ppl arrive on fridays.

But when we get to saturday mid of day. things starts to happen. If someone comes with a PS5 and they login via the captive potal everything looks fine. They have internet but they cannot connect to the PS account thingy, and therefore they cant play any games.

This also happens sometime to Origin and Steam but that is not consistant.

But as soon as i disable the captive potal everything works again.

So is there anyone that knows what i should look for ?

this sounds to me like a dns issue, i'd check your dns configs first. does a normal pc/phone/etc. have any issues using the captive portal?
