Google Drive backup times out with cURL error 56

Hi. I'm pretty new to OPNsense but thanks to some very helpful YT videos and forum posts, I have got my Lenovo M920q with add-on Intel 4-port nic humming along nicely in a fairly basic config that includes 1 vlan and a wireless AP. I'll be receiving an 8-port managed switch tomorrow so the vlan fun will continue on.

I am currently running the appliance behind my ISP router, in a lab scenario. The firewall and all lab devices behind it can access the internet.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. I am experiencing issues with getting the  Google Drive backup running. I have followed the OPNsense Cloud Backup how-to doc to the letter, from setting up the Google Project and creating the service account to painstakingly filling in the details as directed into the System->Configuration->Backups->Google Drive settings. I get the following error message every time:

• cURL error 56: Recv failure: Operation timed out (see http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)
• Saved settings, but remote backup failed.

Note that I did all of the Google Drive and Project work on a pc that is behind the firewall so there's no doubt in my mind that I can get to there from here. I can see activity in the metrics for the service account but no entries appear in the service account usage logs. I'm missing something somewhere!

Does anyone have any idea what might cause the timeout? Thanks in advance for your time.

Well, it's working now! The fix may have been due to re-writing my LAN firewall rules yesterday for something unrelated but I can't be sure as I didn't test backup saves immedicably after. Onwards!
