Just updated Protectli FW4B to 24.1 from 23.7.12_5 using the GUI. I run some VPNs, Acme, AdGuard, DDNS, MDNS, Unbound, and ISC DHCP. Everything is running great. Thanks Devs for keeping OPNsense awesome!

My dec670 is running great as well
Glad to be rid of 1.1.1.1
I'll move back to business version once it's updated

Seconded. Tested in Vagrant and after I found AdGuard Home from @mimugmail's community repo to be working I upgraded my home system - no issues whatsoever so far.

Now need to find some time to move from ISC to Kea.

Ditto!
Same here, upgraded last night to 24.1 and no known issues so far.
I can now see Wireguard Internet egress traffic in Zenarmor, so I'm happy [emoji4]

Same success here. No issues with the upgrade.

Same, updated PC Engines APU2E4 from 23.7.12_5 to 24.1_1 an hour or two ago, no issues so far.

SOHO internet access + Wifi, a single wireguard tunnel set up, DHCP & local DNS running, dual-stack IPv4 / IPv6 configuration, everything running smoothly.

Thanks devs.

Hi,
everything is running smoothly for me too.
My "services": See attachment.
Many thanks to the developers :-)

Upgraded 2 of 3 production firewalls and all good so far.

Only thing noticed was the already mentioned tidy up of os-wireguard plugin.

Also, I had to update the squid package for it to be ultimately removed in the updates tab, but all good.

Average user here. I don't understand 80% of how freebsd and opensense work but the upgrade went flawlessly from 23.7.12 to 24.1 except for a php hiccup concerning widgets.
Failed opening required '/usr/local/www/widgets/api/plugins/interfaces.inc'

I have plenty of services running but I don't have zenarmor or IDS running at the moment.

Probably Home Assistant integration which needs to be fixed (not in our code).

Cheers,

I feel the same way. It could be magic for all I care because it just works.

Clean install / reconfigured from scratch a relatively simple setup: Static WAN, LAN, WLAN, HE TunnelBroker, OpenVPN Server Instance. Everything is working great!

Updated from 27_11_5 via GUI on a Zotac MI522 without any problems. Plugins os-acme-client-4.0 os-clamav-1.8 os-ddclient-1.20_1 os-haproxy-4.2 os-ntopng-1.2_2 os-postfix-1.23_3 os-realtek-re-1.0 os-redis-1.1_2 os -rspamd-1.13
No new errors like those already reported.

Updated via GUI; everything was good except that there appeared to be nothing listening on 443, but connections weren't immediately refused. configctl webgui restart made it start working as normal.

Just ran the upgrad on a zotac zbox with two realtek nics and 4 Intel N3450 cores. Worked fine so far with one exception:

The IPv4 default gateway went missing and had to be defined manually to get back online to the ancient world again.
