Configuration Help

Hey Guys,

I am new to OPNsense and just getting my home lab started and need some assistance in configuring the traffic to my home lab. If this has been answered already and someone can point me to the thread let me know. I believe i'm missing a simple step in my setup.

I have zero access to the modem so my network consist of a Linksys router running Opnwrt in WiFi bridge to allow my devices to connect via Ethernet.

Modem (DHCP) || opnwrt router---->[Unraid Svr (staticIP) , PC].

i would like to add the firewall and route traffic to another IP range to keep my devices undiscoverable from the regular network to start but i am having issues with routing traffic to other subnets.

Modem (DHCP) || Opnwrt Router---->OPNsence dual Port appl----> ALL DEVICES

Can someone tell me how to get started in setting up the firewall rules?

none of the guides i have used online have worked so far.
