No WAN connection (blank value)

Hello everyone!
First post on this forum and I'm in need of some expert help!
I'm currently running version 23.7.10_1-amd64 on a small-form PC and it runs great! I was in need of a 2.5 GB NIC to handle some streaming traffic internally, so I moved my OPNsense firewall to a Windows 2022 Hypervisor VM. The VM was running like a champ for 3 weeks when suddenly I woke up to no internet connection. When I turned on IPv6 I was able to get an address and internet connectivity but nothing through IPv4. My WAN connection comes from a cable modem provided by Spectrum. I plugged in a PC directly to the box and I get an IPv4/6 address. I plugged in my older setup, and everything works as well. I reset the OPNsense configuration on my VM and started from scratch and I still can't get an IPv4 address. If change a WAN interface setting, and I monitor the dashboard, I can see that I get an IPv4 address for a second or two but then it turns blank. I checked for any driver updates for both the host and guest system but still nothing.
Are there any logs that I can use or turn on to help me troubleshoot? Any help would be greatly appreciated and please let me know if you require any information.
Thank you!

I figured it out. The same thing happened to me this morning but on a different VM running pfsense. When I couldn't figure it out, I made a new VM and used pfsense and I got a WAN IP and I left it thinking it was some config issue that I couldn't solve.
This morning my cable modem lost power, but my VM stayed up and I had no internet access! The same thing was happening where pfsense would grab a WAN IP for a second or two and then show up as a blank value. I logged on to my Win2022 HyperV server and noticed it had an internet connection. Turns out I didn't disable the virtual adapter that it made which was connected to the WAN virtual switch.
Now I can swap back to my OpnSense VM. Yay!
