[Resolved] Do I need opt vlan interface in config page?
« on: January 08, 2024, 03:37:32 pm »
I have a router with two physical interfaces, re0, and re1, where re0 is the LAN.
It has a VLAN interface named vlan0.99, which is based on the re0 physical interface.

Do I need to select vlan0.99 in my Firewall configuration, or is it sufficient to just select re0?
I'm asking this because the traffic identified in vlan0.99 appears twice, as re0 with vlan99 and vlan0.99 with vlan0.

Hi,

Selecting the parent interface is sufficient and recommended. Zenarmor covers the VLAN(s) within the parent interface.
