Why is OPNSense forcing me to send report back to Zenarmor?????????????

I am replacing my current box with a better one and will leave it as backup in case things go bad, I have no OPNSense backup at the moment.
I am removing things I don't need on the backup box like Zenarmor but I cannot uninstall it.

I mean, it only allow me to uninstall it IF AND ONLY IF I agree with "Send anonymous feedback to zenarmor team"

I am sorry, that is f***d big time!
Of course I am mad, no tool should force me to send feedback no matter if anonymously or not.
If I don't agree, I cannot uninstall zenarmor from my own box.

Pi-Hole says it contacted dash.zenarmor.com, I will be blocking any DNS call to zenarmor regarding to that and statistics and think twice to use it again.
I hope OPNSense isn't becoming a pfSense crappy....

There's a "x" in the top right corner. Does it not do what one would expect?

And if you export a config.xml no plugins are physically stored with it so you can choose what to install on the new box. Uninstalling won't clear the config.xml contents anyway.

Thank you for the reply,
That "x"  aborts the process so unless you agree with sending feedback, you aren't allowed to remove Zenarmor.

Ok sounds like you should submit a bug report for this to them then.

Hi Hakuna,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm going to forward your request to the product team about the uninstallation step.
