I'd guess it's your responsibility to check before you post and it wasn't evident from your post whether you'd seen (or even knew) about the released roadmap..

"road-map" is flexible, if  request is accepted you can add it to road-map in feature release.
And yes i checked  road-map before i add this post.
I think is good to know relation between MAC address and description(logic relation) as pseudo/semi-pseudo Network Access Control.

Hi there,

This doesn't warrant a roadmap item and the proposal sounds good so this is something to add until 17.1. It would help a ton if this was recording on GitHub instead: https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues

We now rather ask users to create issues there because it's better to keep track of them and have an owner / tester of the feature that is not a developer doing the work for proper double-checking and exchange of ideas.
