Hello

I have very bad performance running iperf3 to my DEC740 or via the DEC740.
I achieve only about 700 Mbit and also have a ton of retransmissions:
ID] Interval           Transfer     Bitrate         Retr
[  5]   0.00-10.00  sec   835 MBytes   700 Mbits/sec  45900             sender

What tuneables should I set for my DEC740?
Hardware offloading in Interface settings are all disabled.

Thanks!

Thanks for linking this thread. I read it till end and set the recommended tunables. But sadly this did not help at all.
Also the recommendations are focused on VM not bare-metal OPNsense like I have with the DEV740....
Anything else I can try?

You say you ahve a lot of retransmitions 45900 for the 10s interval is indeed wierd. When you are testing via IPerf what kind of host you are testing with? Also retransmition can be cause due to errors, faulty links, congestions etc.

What is your network setup?
When you run the iperf command are you on the client side using -R parameter?
Is it possible for you to test in such a way you connect the testing HOSTs to the OPNdirectly with New or good working cables?
