firewall -> log files
«

When I look in the documentation
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/logging_firewall.html
, I only see Live View and Plain View under Firewall menu item. However, my system (23.1.7_3) also has General and Overview. While Live View, Overview, and Plain View are all populating and appear to be working, General is empty.
Should this be the case?
I appreciate any help you can lend.
Thanks.

The log is just for firewall-reload related errors which don't seem to happen very much. But if it does it creates a system notice and points to the log for further details. Otherwise it's going to be empty indeed.

@franco, thank you for your help. Are you aware of a view of the logged firewall events that is friendly, similar to the Live View (color coded and parsed) within OPNsense?

No. It has been discussed a few times but there have been no efforts to make this happen.
Cheers,
