IPTV and Zenarmor Block

Hello all,

I turned on the block categories yesterday and my IPTV service got caught up in this. Which category does this fall into and can I exempt certain internal IPs from this?

Hi Steve,

It is possible that the IPTV service is being blocked by the category "Streaming Media"  as an app category or "Online Video", as a Web category. You can allow these categories to test the issue.

Then you need to examine block reports or live session explorer logs to find the IPTV hostname and IP address to add it white-list or exempt from Zenarmor packet processing.

To exempt certain internal IPs from the block, you will need to create an exception rule in your firewall configuration.
You can do this by creating a new rule that allows traffic from the specific internal IP address to bypass the security category block.
