OPNsense High Availability setup with PPPoE

Anyone has some news about setup OPNSense High Availability (CARP) setup and a PPPoE connection?
Any suggestion is welcome :-)

I think it's possible to move the PPPoE connection to the backup in case of failover... System: High Availability: Settings: Disconnect dialup interfaces.

I'd be interested in any confirmation on this. I currently run my firewall on ESXi and I was thinking of setting this up.
I've had a search around and couldn't find any definitive answer just a vague comment about a 'script'.
I also found the following:

Maybe that would help but as I'm not experienced with HA at the moment I havn'e tried it yet. I'd be interested to hear your experience with HA & PPPoE.
