Hi,

Looks like the Openvpn widget is still partially broken, Tunnel is up, can ping the 'other side', only thing that isn't working is the little red or green arrows on the right, they should be green, they keep staying red

Known issue?

No only updated to the most recent published version 23.1.5-4 (Firmware, Status), No OPNSense shell patching.

I downgraded back to 22.10.2 (Business) for now

I have the same issue.
Since change from 22.7.11 to 23.x (whatever Subversion) OpenVPN State in Dashboard is some kind of broken. Either it shows the server is not started (in fact it is) and/or in widget is no tunnel shown; but in Gateway the OpenVPN still shows its adresses.

Only solution for me is to open shell, use command "pgrep openvpn" to lookup the <pid> which i have to "Kill" then afterwards (using the "kill <pid>" command).

Please revise the openVPN section. And please think about a functional restart of openvpn service by only using gui. At time being the openVPN service won't start again by not killing the pid as shown above using shell commands.

BUT - great BUT - THANKS FRANCO and all team members for this really great product.

It's being improved in 23.1.6. Right now we are working on OpenVPN components to be migrated to MVC/API which is difficult because of complexities in different setups and the old code is not always right as well.

Client specific overrides are next... ;)

Cheers,
Franco

Nice, thanx Franco, will that be available in the 23.4 Business Update also?

Yep. 23.4 will be based on 23.1.5 with additional changes added on top.
