Logfiles and RAM

I'm in a pickle. I roleplay as a sysadmin for my home network.
My RAM usage is up to about 90% with 2gb of RAM on my Zima Board 216.
I want to save logfiles to the HDD so they don't sit in the RAM.
Is there a way to do this?

seems like you have this option allready
"Use memory file system for /var/log"
otherwise you would have them on system disk(and persistant) since that it default
this is my /var/log
tmpfs 4996004 221924 4774080 4% /var/log

In that same area, you can set a lower limit for RAM percentage. It's a relatively new option available on both the community and business editions. In the log settings, you can also consider lowering the number of days worth of log to preserve.
