Unbound memory usage high?

Hi all!
I happened to notice that my swap usage was higher than normal (system's been up for 5 days now) - i.e. normally it's zero, or nearly so, but tonight I noticed it was around 1.7 - 2gb (sits on an 8gb card).
Checked top, and Unbound was using nearly 8gb (size - can't remember what res was), which also seemed really unusual. Given I've never seen things grow in this way, I can't help but wonder if perhaps something wasn't quite right?
I restarted the service, noted the initial size (1769mb size, 1378mb res), and figure I'll watch over the coming days to see if things grow again.
Is there a rational reason why unbound would grow like this?
Attached a pic of memory over the past 60 hours if that would help.
Thanks!

Hi Bob,
Is the fancy graph part of OPNsense? I only got
top
to show memory usage, which says I got over 2 GB free of 4 GB RAM, and no swap used out of 8 GB. This is on 23.1.3 after about a days uptime on a residential connection with a couple of Internet facing servers and fewer than 50 active devices on the LAN.

Yeah, I think it probably is the logging/charting - I disabled that back on the 13th when I restarted things, and memory and swap have been stable.
I use nextDNS for DoT, and they have logging, etc., but I was enjoying see the local stats, as well as confirming that my overrides were working (can confirm this as well by noting the absence of specific queries from the nextDNS logs, so no big deal).
Thanks!

Great! :-)
Consider editing the topic title to include 'solved', or something, so others can skip it or find in case they have a similar problem!
