This is a new install of Opnsense 23.1 and I am having issues with it stopping at the splash screen during boot up. It says Autoboot will start in 3 seconds but unless I hit the Enter key, this is where it sits. When I do hit Enter, it completes the boot up and I and able to log in with the GUI.  I have read that I may need to change the Autoboot value in the loader.conf file but I am unable to make no changes because the file system is Read-only.  Below is the hardware I am using on this build. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HUNSN Mini PC with an Intel Celeron N4500 1.1GHZ processor
Hynix HMA82GS6AFR8N-UH 16GB DDR4
Kingston NV2 SNV2S 250G M.2 2280 NVMe Internal SSD

What happens if you boot with no keyboard attached?
OPNsense 24.7.7 running on:
Dell Optiplex 3050
Intel I5-7600 @ 3.5Ghz (4 Cores)
Intel I350-T4 Nic
8G DDR4
256G SSD

Thank you for your question. I tried that before and unfortunately it still stalled at the splashscreen.

I continued to troubleshoot this issue by using a live USB configured with FreeBSD to boot off of. I noticed the live USB also hung up on the splash screen. I figured it might be a setting in the BIOS causing the problem. Once I disabled Secure Boot, it now autoboots with no issues.
