Expected behavior??

Hello,

Today I've noticed thousands of these (please see pic). It goes back to when I upgraded to 23.1

Is this expected behavior?

Not sure whether it's related to this, but my memory usage skyrocketed to 90% (it never went above ~45-50% before).

Thanks for taking the time to advise.

If you suspect a bug you could create a bug report ticket. But i can understand you want to validate using the forum first.

dont think so.
it is simply a message that the dhcp BOUND, RENEW or REBIND has occurred and the contents of the file need to be updated. and the severity of the message should be appropriate (info or notice?), which indicates the normal operation of the system

TYA for your responses. I wonder why this is happening on a regular intervals of 23 mins?
Before the upgrade I rarely noticed such an event (once a day maybe but never tracked it tbh)

I think it depends on the dhcp lease time. usually the client tries to renew the lease approximately in the middle of the lease time

This ^

In my case it renews on WAN exactly every 15 minutes. Which is because my ISP sets 30 minute lease times

I see...

Is this still the case even if my signed public IP never changed since the upgrade to 23.1?

TYA

yep. its not about ip change. only about lease time
