Doing an update from 22.7.2 to 22.7.9 fails.
I have confirmed that it occurs on both the WebUI and Console.
The update stops applying part way through.

A quick update to address the new FreeBSD security advisory for ping utility
as well as Suricata.  The DNS block list was rewritten in Python and there

Following the forum a couple of days. Issues of the friday release.
Did not see this one earlier. Think it is wise to report a bug. Keep it in the "broken" state (make a snapshot) and try if you can reproduce it if reverting to the previous state. e.a.: was it a fluke.

I can reproduce it.
I hit the issue 3 times. 1x WebUI and 2x Console (1x SSH, 1x VM Console).
I restored from my weekend backup between runs.

How should I report a bug? And where?

I had similar problems a few days ago: web frontend was not working. console login was ok.
I tried it again today and it worked!

Thanks for the info.

After the reboot the system would not start.
I kept having to drop into the shell.
Even after doing that many times it would not start.

I can confirm that this was caused by freeradius3.
Removing the plugin then updating works.

temporary uninstalling is of course not a solution, but a workaround.
That said, are you actually using RADIUS? Although i used the workaround to update/upgrade. RADIUS is still broken.

touch /var/log/radacct
and
mkdir /var/run/radiusd

and then redo the update fixed this somehow for me
