I am trying to install OPNSENSE on a HP t740 Thin Client : AMD Ryzen™ V1756B with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics (3.25 GHz base clock, up to 3.6 GHz max boost clock, 2 MB cache, 4 cores) - 8 GB DDR4-2400 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB) using a Intel E1G42ET, 1.25G Gigabit Ethernet Converged Network Card (NIC),with Intel 82576 Chip, Dual RJ45 Copper Ports, PCI Express 2.0 X1 and TEAMGROUP MS30 256GB with SLC Cache 3D NAND TLC M.2 2280 SATA. I am installing with USB VGA image but getting an error atkbd0: [GIANT-LOCKED] and just hangs. I waited 20 minutes still stuck on that error. So I PRESS ESC and SPACE while booting up type: unset hint.uart.0.at - unset hint.uart.1.at boot. That worked and I was able to proceed with install but when my install was done I was getting the [GIANT-LOCKED] again. I went to the OPNSENSE subreddit for help I was told after installation go into console option (
and change ee/boot/device.hints # Comment those two lines unset hint.uart.0.at - unset hint.uart.1.at ESC to exit and save. I did that but I don't how to save that config change. So let me be honest I am a N00B I have NO experience doing this but I want to build my own router so any help will be well appreciated.
