Fresh Install/Restoring from Backup? Newbie Question.

Hello,

If I do a backup of all my settings, and a fresh install that restores from that backup, what settings do I lose? Will I have to reconfigure anything?

(I need to update to the latest production version, and want to switch to ZFS since it's recommended, which means fresh install.)
