Linux hat sicher was neueres und gibt standardmäßig A und AAAA Records zurück.
Oder Apple hat ein paar Einstellungen beim kompilieren des Programms anders.
Oh mein Gott, daran hab ich im entferntesten nicht dran gedacht, aber MacOs 12.3 ist nicht besser., auch man page von 2018

DIG liefert die IPv6 Adresse zurück - das passt.

Das liegt nicht am Mac OS. nslookup ist tot. Da arbeitet niemand mehr dran.
