I have been getting more and more frustrated with trying to get a very basic templated setup working in to which to move a number of different lab environments I have set up.

The setup is basic:
1. single server with single quad 1g quad port running ESXi 7
2. Unifi switches and router

I have setup OPNsense as a VM on ESXi:

WAN Virtual Adapter >> OPNSENSE - WAN Port Group > SECURE vSwitch

LAN Virtual Adapter >> OPSENSE - LAN Port Group > LABS vSwitch

On OPNsense I have set up:

LAN :

WAN  :

OPT1:

I have enabled DHCPv4 service on OPT1 similar to how it is set up on LAN

I have VM jumpoff.lab.local attached to OPNSENSE - LAN Port Group - this receives DHCP address and network connectivity ok.

I have VM win10-client01.main.test attached to Port Group to vSwitch LABS:

This win10-client01 does not get any network connectivity.

On Unifi I have setup a VLAN Only network definition for VLAN 100.

Not sure how to get win10-client01 VM working on the network. Any help appreciated.

Mod: Could you please move to General?
