Pull requests - against master or stable/21.7?

Hi!

If I need a feature in the 21.7 branch should I send a pull request against that one or always against master and if the change is small enough it will be merged?

What's your preferred workflow?

After messing up two times I'm extra careful this time. Beware of programmers carrying screwdrivers - and network engineers wielding git  ;)
